The couple were married at St Joseph’s Church in the village of Aughavas, Co Leitrim, and were joined by guests including some of Ireland’s leading rugby and television stars. Despite heavy downpours early in the day, hundreds of rugby fans had gathered from mid-morning to watch their sporting heroes arrive at the church, which was decorated with pink and white peonies and hydrangeas.
O’Driscoll, 31, a former British and Irish Lions captain, greeted fans and signed autographs outside the church, and was joined by team-mates including Paul O’Connell, Luke Fitzgerald and Shane Horgan. Miss Huberman, 31, who is best-known for her role in the Irish medical drama The Clinic, kept her fiance waiting for a respectable 20 minutes at the church, before arriving in a white Bentley with a police escort.
